The goal of the EIFE project is to develop solutions for improving the energy efficiency in residential buildings.
The role of the research group at the Robotics Laboratory is to investigate the solution to manage the control of a centralized boiler in a building with several apartments. The assumption is that there are no thermostats in the apartments, while a temperature sensor provides the feedback about the internal temperature of the rooms.
