Seafile, lets you store your files and data on a central server and synchronize them with PCs and mobile devices. Seafile synchronizes your data between the Seafile server and the Seafile client applications installed on your laptops, desktops, smartphones, and tablets.
Seafile server is available for Windows and Linux operating systems and the Seafile client application is available for Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS. In addition to using Seafile clients, you can also use the web interface to access your files and data stored in Seafile server.
Seafile lets you create libraries where you can upload and organize your files. You can sync each library separately. While synchronizing your files, Seafile handles file conflicts, and transfers the data which is not already available in the server preventing unnecessary bandwidth usage. Using Seafile, you can sync your files with two or more servers and the file transfers can be resumed. Also, Seafile comes with full version control mechanism.
Science impacts everyone's world. With over 1,800 journals publishing articles from across science, technology and health, our mission is to share some of the stories that matter. Each month Atlas will showcase research that can (or already has) significantly impact people's lives around the world and we hope that bringing wider attention to this research will go some way to ensuring its successful implementation.
With so many worthy articles published the tough job of selecting a single article to be awarded "The Atlas" each month comes down to an Advisory Board. The winning research is presented alongside interviews, expert opinions, multimedia and much more on the Atlas website.
We aim to showcase some of the articles that can make a real difference and hope you'll find this to be a valuable resource.

This extension prevents Google, Yahoo and Yandex search pages from modifying search result links when you click them. This is useful when copying links but it also helps privacy by preventing the search engines from recording your clicks.
Tagxfs is a semantic file system. It extends the user space file system to a tag based hierarchy.
Imagine that you want to add a new folder to your existing folder structure. But semantically it belongs into more locations, e.g. you have the trailer for the movie 'Indiana Jones 4' and existing a folder structure (ref.1.1). It belongs in the folder Adventure and also in 2000s (production year 2008).
TMSU is a tool for tagging your files. It provides a simple command-line tool for applying tags and a virtual filesystem so that you can get a tag-based view of your files from within any other program.
TMSU does not alter your files in any way: they remain unchanged on disk, or on the network, wherever you put them. TMSU maintains its own database and you simply gain an additional view, which you can mount, based upon the tags you set up. The only commitment required is your time and there's absolutely no lock-in.
tagfs - Fuse tag file system. unfortunately it seems be able to tag at directory level only.
Graphviz is open source graph visualization software. Graph visualization is a way of representing structural information as diagrams of abstract graphs and networks. It has important applications in networking, bioinformatics, software engineering, database and web design, machine learning, and in visual interfaces for other technical domains.
Project Management beyond Gantt Chart Drawing
TaskJuggler is a modern and powerful, Free and Open Source Software project management tool. Its new approach to project planning and tracking is more flexible and superior to the commonly used Gantt chart editing tools.
TaskJuggler is project management software for serious project managers. It covers the complete spectrum of project management tasks from the first idea to the completion of the project. It assists you during project scoping, resource assignment, cost and revenue planning, risk and communication management.
TaskJuggler provides an optimizing scheduler that computes your project time lines and resource assignments based on the project outline and the constraints that you have provided. The built-in resource balancer and consistency checker offload you from having to worry about irrelevant details and ring the alarm if the project gets out of hand. The flexible as-many-details-as-necessary approach allows you to plan your project as you go, making it also ideal for new management strategies such as Extreme Programming and Agile Project Management.
FCL stands for Fuzzy Control Language, which is a standard for Fuzzy Control Programming published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The specifications for the FCL syntax can be found in IEC document 61131-7.
Ragel compiles executable finite state machines from regular languages. Ragel targets C, C++, Obj-C, C#, D, Java, Go and Ruby. Ragel state machines can not only recognize byte sequences as regular expression machines do, but can also execute code at arbitrary points in the recognition of a regular language. Code embedding is done using inline operators that do not disrupt the regular language syntax.
Internet Timestamping Service: proof of timestamp of your file.

It’s easy to be busy; it’s hard to be productive. Raise your hand if you’ve spent entire days answering "quick" email after "quick" email; spent hours in your task manager organizing your tasks for productivity; spent a half-day organizing tidying up old design files; or looked back on your week and realized you worked your ass off, but you’re not really sure what you actually accomplished.
Bad news, those with raised hands: you’re a victim of false hustle.
Free themes for Bootstrap.
A sleek, intuitive, and powerful mobile first front-end framework for faster and easier web development.
Developed by Google, Go is an open source programming language that makes it easy to build simple, reliable, and efficient software.
neovim is a project that seeks to aggressively refactor vim source code in order to achieve the following goals:
- Simplify maintenance to improve the speed that bug fixes and features get merged.
- Split the work between multiple developers.
- Enable the implementation of new/modern user interfaces without any modifications to the core source.
- Improve the extensibility power with a new plugin architecture based on coprocesses. Plugins will be written in any programming language without needing explicit support from the editor.
By achieving these goals, new developers will be more inclined to join the community, consequently improving the editor for all users.
Taskwarrior is an open-source cross platform command-line task management tool. It allows you to capture, annotate, manipulate and present your tasks, then sync them among devices.
Probably one of the most if not the most popular mind mapping application for Linux.
In 2008, it was nominated for Best Project category in SourceForge.net's Community Choice Awards. Free mind is written in Java making it portable across multiple platforms. As with other mind mapping software packages, it allows the user to edit a hierarchical set of ideas around a central concept.
The presence of energy hubs and the advancement in smart grid technologies have motivated system planners to deploy intelligent multicarrier energy systems entitled “smart energy hub” (S.E. Hub). In this paper, we model S.E. Hub, and propose a modern energy management technique in electricity and natural gas networks based on integrated demand side management (IDSM). In conventional studies, energy consumption is optimized from the perspective of each individual user without considering the interactions with each other. Here, the interaction among S.E. Hubs in IDSM program is formulated as a noncooperative game. The existence and uniqueness of a pure strategy Nash equilibrium (NE) is proved. Additionally, the strategies for each S.E. Hub are determined by proposing a distributed algorithm. We also address the IDSM game in a cloud computing (CC) framework to achieve efficient data processing and information management. Simulations are performed on a grid consisting of ten S.E. Hubs. We compare the CC framework with conventional data processing techniques to evaluate the efficiency of our proposed approach in determining NE. It is also shown that in the NE, the energy cost for each S.E. Hub and the peak-to-average ratio of the electricity demand decrease substantially.
