A close to drop in replacement for cut that can use a regex delimiter instead of a fixed string. Additionally this tool allows for specification of the order of the output columns using the same column selection syntax as cut (see below for examples).

Unlike most terminal file-managers out there, CliFM replaces the traditional curses interface by a simple command-line interface. It is a file-manager, but also a shell extension.

This is already by far my favourite file manager.

imgp is a command line image resizer and rotator for JPEG and PNG images. It can resize (or thumbnail) and rotate thousands of images in a go, at lightning speed, while saving significantly on storage.
