Typespeed - Game for improving typing speed

Typespeed is a game that require typing words that are flying by from left to right as fast as you can.

In Typespeed, the goal is to type the words appearing on the screen, and flying from left to right, as fast as possible to prevent them to reach the right side. The speed of the words increases with the increasing level of the game. When enough words have reached the right side of the screen, the game ends.

At the end of a game, Typespeed shows some statistics, such as the number of total characters per secods (CPS) and correct CPS, plus a ratio of the errors. This information is used to assign a score to the player, which enters into the ranking of high scores.

A number of options can be customized, including the number of words that appear simultaneously on the screens and the speed tange.

Additionally, Typespeed allows to select the set of words that will be used in the game. The sets include words from different vocabularies (English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Thai, Spanish, and more), and terms from the computer domain, e.g., Unix commands, programming functions, DOS commands and others.

Typespeed is a funny game and can help improving the typing speed.
